Zo’n plek vraagt om een naam met betekenis. Na een oproep aan de inwoners werd gekozen voor De Weeg: een naam die verwijst naar “de wieg”, omdat op deze site vroeger een ziekenhuis stond waar veel Breeënaars geboren zijn. Die gelaagdheid maakt de naam sterk. Ze verbindt verleden en toekomst, en geeft het sportcomplex meteen een menselijk verhaal.

We ontwikkelden een visuele identiteit die werkt op alle contactpunten: digitaal én fysiek, van bewegwijzering tot film, van typografie tot kleurgebruik. Alles is opgebouwd vanuit één duidelijke merkbeleving. Geen losse elementen, maar een herkenbaar geheel dat rust, speelsheid en toegankelijkheid uitstraalt.

KLEUR

In het kleurenpalet kozen we voor frisse, natuurlijke tinten met groen als belangrijke basis. De sporthal ligt in een groene omgeving, en dat gevoel wilden we mee naar binnen trekken. De zachte kleuren brengen rust en openheid, terwijl een roze accent zorgt voor energie en eigenheid. Samen creëren ze een sfeer die jong en uitnodigend aanvoelt: een plek die aanzet tot beweging, maar ook ruimte laat om even te landen.
